Klipsch THX certified Speakers take the listening experience to another level. When teamed with a THX rated surround sound processor and quality speaker wire you achieve a complete THX Surround Sound System.

THX a world renown sound processing format originally started and still overseen by George Lucas. The same man that brought us STAR WARS and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, knows a few things about film sound tracks.

Very few speaker manufactures have anything THX certified, Klipsch being a leader in high end speaker manufacturing has In Wall THX as well as Box THX certified speakers for Home Theater applications, Klipsch even had a set of multimedia speakers for computer gaming that was THX certified.

You won’t find BOSE’ with a THX rated speaker system, one of the reasons is the testing by THX to be certified. A speaker needs to meet a certain criteria to handle low and high frequencies and at high levels of power with low rates of distortion. The speaker is sent to the THX laboratory to be put through vigorous testing and if it passes; and of course after a special fee is paid (which adds to the overall cost of any THX certified component): then and only then it is officially a THX Certified Speaker. Without getting too technical “geeky” here, you can’t crank up a 300 watt amp on a set of BOSE’ without it squealing like a French Commander on a battlefront screaming retreat! Oh sorry about that!
